Kortney Pope -

As an elementary school teacher, I am blessed to be part of the St. Peter family, where I have been teaching since 2021. I graduated from Benedictine University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and earned my Master’s Degree in Education from National Louis University. I have been an educator since 2008 and have had the joy of teaching first, second, and third grades.

I grew up in Arlington Heights and attended local parochial schools from preschool through high school. It is especially meaningful to me to work and serve in the community where I grew up. I am married and have two daughters, and as a family, we love spending time outdoors and playing sports together.

I am truly grateful to be part of the St. Peter community and to work with students in kindergarten through third grade. What I love most about St. Peter is the welcoming community and its Christ-centered approach to education. I strive to create a classroom where students feel loved, supported, and encouraged to grow both academically, spiritually,  and personally. My hope is to foster a lifelong love of learning while helping each child recognize the unique gifts and talents God has given them.
