Jonathan Frohn - Middle School ELA
I grew up in Central Illinois and have been involved in music and ministry since high school. After meeting my wife, Jenny, in high school, we quickly sensed God’s call into a life of ministry together. We both attended Lincoln Christian University, where I earned a degree in Worship Ministry and Jenny earned a degree in Children’s Ministry.
We served in our home church and at Morton Christian Church for seven years before preparing for church planting overseas. Although we originally planned to move to Berlin, Germany, God redirected us to a church plant in the Chicagoland area, where we served for nearly three years.
I later earned a master’s degree in Middle Grades Education from National Louis University while teaching part-time in public schools and at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library. After teaching in the Wilmette School District for nearly two years, I joined the staff at St. Peter full time as the Modern Worship Leader and Leader of Connections.
Jenny and I have four children—Elliana, Josiah, Evenora, and Adelayna. Our youngest three attend St. Peter, and our oldest is a soon-to-be graduate of Buffalo Grove High School.
Along with music, I enjoy woodworking, tinkering with gadgets, electrical projects, and learning new skills—embracing life as a jack of all trades.
