Paul Goffron
Principal

Welcome to St. Peter Lutheran School as we celebrate over 160 years of excellence! As principal, I am excited to welcome you into our vibrant, warm, and supportive community. The spirit of family and love of Christ resonates throughout the campus, where students from age two through 8th grade are challenged and supported while taught from a biblical perspective that reflects our Christian values.

We have the distinct honor of being one of the oldest educational institutions in Northern Illinois and one of the most technologically advanced and creatively innovative. At St. Peter, we believe that rigorous academics can be taught in dynamic ways that allow students to experience the joy and excitement at the heart of so many enduring learning experiences. The classrooms, Makerspace, gyms, art studio, and playgrounds all serve as vital staging grounds for a rich program designed to prepare St. Peter graduates to be intellectually curious, compassionate, and independent thinkers. The result is a transformative experience where students discover who they are in Christ and embrace their God-given purpose. Start here, lead anywhere!

Our goal at St. Peter is to balance both Lutheran tradition and innovation in all that we do. Our mission is to deepen our students’ awareness of Christian citizenship, focused on improving and enhancing the world around us. We feel privileged to partner with students and families in the development of the very foundations upon which these children will build their lives. We equip St. Peter students with the tools they will need to excel in both demanding secondary schools and life beyond formal education in a rapidly evolving world. Our students are collaborative and creative with a strong sense of school spirit – they are artists, athletes, readers, writers, and scientists. St. Peter is future-focused.

St. Peter enjoys a rich history full of traditions that foster a dedicated and passionate Christian community. Explore our school through these pages. Better yet, visit our campus to feel the vitality of our school and experience firsthand the palpable energy and excitement that results from teachers and students engaging in meaningful work. Finally, see why generations of families believe St. Peter is the best place for learning in Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs.

We look forward to meeting you on campus soon!
