MEET OUR STAFF
It has been said that it takes a village to raise a child. St. Peter is no different. Though our teachers are the staff St. Peter families are most familiar with, dozens of people working behind the scenes make up the rest of St. Peter’s village. These individuals make sure your family receives the absolute best care possible at our school, and we would like to take a moment to introduce a few of them to you now.

Colleen Bukala works at St. Peter as an Administrative Assistant to the school. This is her 4th year working at St. Peter. Colleen maintains the special education files and serves as the liaison to District 25, coordinating new referrals and re-evaluations and acting as the Case Manager for our students with Accommodation Plans (AP) and Individualized Educational Service Plans (IESP). She also assists our administration with numerous administrative tasks needed for the school to run smoothly. Her favorite thing about working at St. Peter is being surrounded by others who share her beliefs and hearing children laughing in the halls. Her joyful attitude and willingness to help are evident to all who meet her. Colleen has been married for 19 years and has three wonderful children. When she isn’t working, she enjoys getting out on the water to kayak with her husband.

Jason Carson is St. Peter’s Operations and Security Supervisor. His primary responsibilities are to supervise our security team, manage the utilization of the facility with internal and external groups, and ensure the safety of our staff and students each day. He is the go-to guy for safety and security concerns, reservations for space in the building, and is the person who greets people as they arrive on our campus. He strives to represent St. Peter in a positive way. Jason is married to Kim, and they are blessed with three children – Zach, Luke, and Abby, and two dogs Kali and Kane. Jason has been on staff at St. Peter for three years and a church member for 20.

Michelle is a lifelong member of St. Peter, as well as an alum of the school. She loves being a part of St. Peter because of the close bonds with other families and the sense of community. Michelle’s favorite verse is Joshua 1:9 because it reminds her that no matter what challenge she is facing, she never faces it alone. Her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her family. Her son got married last summer, and her daughter is getting married in September 2022.
