What is ACE?

St. Peter’s Arts, Culture, and Entertainment (“ACE”) Program features after-school activities that provide an enriched educational environment to support student development. It offers students additional opportunities for learning, exploring, and utilizing their gifts.

ACE offers a diverse selection of after-school classes for students in Preschool through 8th grade. Instruction is led by partnering organizations and professional staff who are pre-screened by St. Peter and hired for their expertise in the selected course curriculum. There are three ACE sessions throughout the year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. Classes are typically held once a week immediately after class dismissal for one hour over the course of 8 weeks (Fall and Winter) or 8 weeks (Spring).

Sticky Fingers Cooking

Let your children release their inner masterchef!  We’re whipping up some fresh and tasty content for your budding kid chef this season by focusing on 3 super fun COOL-inary themes in our after-school cooking class sessions: ***All classes are vegetarian and 100% nut-free, plus we will accommodate any and all food allergies.***

  • • FUN-da-mentals: In our first class, your kid chef will develop confidence in the kitchen by learning the FUN-da-mentals: measuring, mixing, mashing, blending, and more! These skills set the foundation for cooking and baking, and students will learn these skills while creating a delicious sweet treat with a nutritious twist!

    • Kitchen Tools PhD: In subsequent classes, students will move on to earning their Kitchen Tools PhD! Recipes provide tons of engaging and tactile learning for kids to perfect their dicing, slicing, mincing, grating, folding and chopping with a wide variety of kitchen tools, from graters and immersion blenders to whisks, wooden spoons and kid-safe kitchen knives. These kitchen tools help develop and hone fine motor skills as kid chefs prepare savory recipes together with their peers.

    • COOL-inary Confidence: Students will also learn to “Cook Off the Cuff” for several classes and develop their COOL-inary Confidence with fun & flexible recipes that let them choose the vegetables, herbs, and spices from a bundle of colorful and tasty options. Each hands-on, real-world class will encourage your young chef to engage all of their 5 senses while expressing their own unique culinary creativity, trying new foods, and thinking about how each component will contribute to their own tasty recipe masterpiece in the end!

Jellybean Sports

We teach early learners playground survival skills.

Jelly Bean Sports' after-school programs will keep your early learner active. We work hard to make kids coachable, teaching them how to be better listeners, and better communicators, and challenging their critical thinking. Starting at age 2, ours is a non-competitive sports environment. Great for both young boys and young girls. If your child is shy, no problem. Ours is great fun that offers cool training aids that will have them participating in no time.

Learning is kept novel. By this we mean a different sport is introduced each week. Sports are kept simple and learning is made fun.

Finally, we believe the sports classroom is ideal for the integration of the preschool curriculum. Our active learning offers space for teaching numbers, letters, colors, and more in real-world scenarios. Our use of cool characters, animation, parachutes, bubbles, rings, cones, and dots is what keeps early learners begging for more. Please watch our video to learn more HERE.
