SILENT AUCTION

1. All Silent Auction bidding will take place through OneCause. Guests should register or log in to the OneCause auction site using their mobile device to view items and place bids.

2. Browse all available Silent Auction packages through OneCause or visit the Silent Auction displays throughout the evening to see featured items in person.

3. To bid on an item, select the item in OneCause and enter your bid.

   • Each item will have a starting bid and minimum bid increment.

   • You may bid as many times as you would like until the Silent Auction closes.

   • You may also use OneCause’s Max Bid feature, when available, to enter the highest amount you are willing to pay. OneCause will automatically bid on your behalf up to that amount as other bids are placed.

   • OneCause will notify you if you have been outbid, giving you the opportunity to bid again before the auction closes.

4. The Silent Auction will close at the announced time. The highest valid bid recorded in OneCause when bidding closes will be the winning bid.

5. Winning bidders will be notified through OneCause.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

6. A valid payment method must be saved to your OneCause account in order to bid.

7. Accepted payment methods through OneCause include:

   • Credit Card

   • ACH/Bank Account

   • Apple Pay

   • Google Pay

8. When purchasing your Gala tickets, you will have the option to save your payment method to your OneCause account. You are not required to save it when purchasing tickets; however, a payment method must be added and saved before you can participate in auction bidding the night of the Gala.

9. At the conclusion of the auction, OneCause will automatically close out your account and charge the payment method on file for any item(s) for which you are the winning bidder, along with any other outstanding purchases made through your account.

10. Processing Fees: Guests will have the option to cover the applicable credit card processing fees associated with their transaction. Any applicable fees will be displayed through OneCause before payment is completed.

11. Please make sure your payment information is accurate and up to date before bidding begins. By placing a bid, you are agreeing to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder and authorizing payment through the payment method saved to your OneCause account.

12. Once an auction item has been won and payment has been processed, all sales are final and winning bids cannot be canceled, refunded, or transferred to another bidder.

13. If you experience any issues adding a payment method, accessing your OneCause account, or completing payment, please visit the designated Auction/Checkout area for assistance.

LIVE AUCTION

12. Live Auction bidding will take place during the program with our auctioneer.

13. To place a bid, clearly raise your bidder number/paddle as the auctioneer calls out bid amounts.

• The auctioneer will recognize bids and continue bidding until a winning bidder is determined.

• An auction representative will record the winning bidder number and final bid amount.

• The winning Live Auction purchase will be added to the bidder’s OneCause account for payment.

14. Winning bidders may pick up their auction items at the designated Auction Pickup area before leaving the Gala. All purchases must be paid in full before items may be taken home.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES

1. All sales are final. There are no exchanges or refunds.

2. Values listed for auction items and packages are estimates provided by donors or determined for informational purposes only. St. Peter Lutheran Church & School does not warrant these values for tax purposes or general resale.

3. All items are sold “as is.” St. Peter Lutheran Church & School is not responsible for the accuracy of descriptions or for the genuineness, authorship, provenance, quality, or condition of any auction item.

4. Please carefully review all restrictions, expiration dates, availability requirements, exclusions, and other conditions associated with an auction item before placing a bid. St. Peter Lutheran Church & School and the donor are not obligated to provide a refund for unused, expired, or otherwise unredeemed items.

5. By placing a bid, the bidder agrees to purchase the item if their bid is determined to be the winning bid.

6. Bidders are responsible for ensuring the contact and payment information associated with their OneCause account is correct.

7. In the event of a bidding, payment, or technical issue, St. Peter Lutheran Church & School reserves the right to make the final determination regarding the winning bidder or resolution of an auction item.
