We have served Arlington Heights and the surrounding communities for over 150 years. It continues to be our privilege to provide Christian education to the children that enroll in our school. We are committed to engaging students with an unparalleled and comprehensive education grounded in God’s Word to prepare them for a Full Life In Christ.

The curriculum of St. Peter Lutheran School meets the accreditation requirements of the State of Illinois and the guidelines for Missouri Synod Lutheran schools. St. Peter Lutheran School is accredited by the National Lutheran Schools Accreditation Commission (NLSA). St. Peter is also an Illinois State Recognized Non-Public School and is a member of the Illinois Elementary School Association. It was awarded the National Blue Ribbon Award in 2013 by the U.S. Department of Education for excellence in academic achievement levels of its students and its programs. In March of 2015 it was also awarded the NLSA Accreditation Exemplary School status. Faculty members hold the appropriate bachelors and masters degrees along with state teaching licensures and memberships in professional teaching organizations such as NAEYC (National Association of Education of the Young Child), LEA (Lutheran Education Association), and ASCD (Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development).
