The St. Peter Saints made history at the LSA State Cross Country Meet with some
outstanding performances at the 2016 LSA Cross Country meet in Bloomington, IL on Saturday, October 15th.  Both the boys and girls teams qualified for the Lutheran National meet by finishing in the Top 5.  Led by 8th grader Griffin Ginder’s 2nd place finish, the boys team came in 4th place.  The girls team won the LSA State title for the first time in school history!  6th grader, Anna Harden, won the individual state title for the second year in a row and Mackenzie Ginder and Olivia Harmon also finished in the top 15.  We had 19 personal records set in Bloomington on a pretty challenging course which led to these awesome results!   All of our athletes raced very well and have worked so hard this season under the leadership of coaches, Jeff Rodgers and Lexi Schmidt.  Congratulations to all of our cross country families, coaches, and athletes!
