St Peter Students Participate in Concordia University's Reformation 500

Peter Makes the 2016 Daily Herald Readers Choice Awards.

St. Peter Lutheran Church and School  was recently named as a winner in the 2016 Daily Herald Readers Choice Awards contest in the areas of "Best Private School" and "Best Place to Worship."   Community Threads, a partner ministry of St. Peter, was also named as the winner of the "Best Thrift Store" category.  The awards will be celebrated at a special Daily Herald event and publication in mid July 2016.

St Peter Lutheran School Celebrates Start of 150th School Year withBalloon Launch, Prayer at Olive St and Vail Ave, Arlington Heightspic

Over 550 students kicked off the 150th school year with a balloon release Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. near Olive Street and Vail Avenue.

Pre-school students on up to 8th grade students celebrated the release of hundreds of red and white balloons.

Principal Bruce Rudi led the celebration and closed the ceremony witha prayer blessing the Christian school and coming school year. Articles

St. Peter Lutheran celebrates expansion on first day of school


More than 500 students and faculty gathered in front of St. PeterLutheran School on Monday for a flag raising on the first day of school.Students also celebrated the opening of the school’s new17,000-square-foot wing that includes an assembly area and four newpreschool rooms.
