Service Projects are integrated into a variety of activities, programs and curriculum within St. Peter Lutheran Church and School.

  • Big Days of Service- Two weekends per year with a large variety of service opportunities within the building and community for individual and family involvement
  • Classroom Service-  Individual classes are given opportunities to complete service activities in their classrooms and the community.
  • Chapel Family Service Projects- Students are grouped together from Kindergarten through 8th grade into "Chapel Families" for both worship and service project activities.
  • Saints Out Serving (S.O.S.)  Special service opportunities for middle school students in grades 6-8 which include serving at Feed My Starving Children, Phil's Friends, and helping at local food pantries
  • Parent Teacher League (P.T.L.) Sponsored Service Activities-  The Parent-Teacher League organizes several service projects each year including packing boxes with cards and goodies for service men, holiday service projects, collecting items for local charities, and  neighborhood assistance projects.
  • Community Threads- St. Peter has partnered with three other local ministries to support and run a local upscale re-sale shop.  It services the needs of many families in the area with needed clothing & household items, allows for service opportunities for school classes & families, as well as providing funding for scholarships for St. Peter Lutheran School students.

The following are some service projects that our school is involved with:
