Fine Arts

At St. Peter, we believe that the primary purpose of any art form is to bring glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To this end, St. Peter’s Fine Arts program provides students with a wide range of opportunities for artistic expression. Our programs presently include:

  • Band (grades 4-8)
  • Choir (grades 6-8)
  • Praise Band (grades 6-8)
  • Orchestra (grades 4-8)
  • Handbells (elementary)
  • Orff Ensemble (elementary)
  • Dance (grades 3-8)
  • Art (grades K-8)
  • Spanish (grades PS-8)

Trained, certified teachers, parents, and additional outside personnel lead these activities within the fine arts area.  The groups typically meet one afternoon per week within the St. Peter Church and School building.  Culminating  activities take place in regularly scheduled concerts, as well as chapel and church services. These activities also work together to provide addtional fine arts enrichment programs during the summer. For more information contact Hannah Wieting, Fine Arts Director.
