Principal Succession Milestones

Check back here for updates:
    • December 2018 – The Call Committee is finalized and holds first meeting.
    • January 2018 - Principal Bruce Rudi publicly announces his retirement plans, with the intent to retire at the end of the 2018/19 School Year.
    • January 2018 – The Call Committee begins to solicit, accept and filter through candidate names.
    • February 2018 – The Call Committee finalizes an “ideal candidate profile”, which will help identify the skills, experience, and characteristics we’re looking for as we narrow the list of candidates.
    • March 2018 - Call committee holds 6 video interviews, and narrows down to 3 qualified and exciting candidates.
    • September 2018 - Call committee will hold additional interviews with remaining candidates, and schedule on-site visits with those who are interested.
    • November 2018 – January 2019 – The Call Committee will finalize a recommendation to bring to the congregation for extending a call. In the case of not finding the right candidate or the candidate(s) declining a call, the Committee will continue to seek qualified candidates while also working with the Governing Board to form a strong contingency and interim plan for the 2019/20 school year.
    • June 2019 – Final transition to new Principal.

Please join us in praying for the Principal succession process:

    • For God’s wisdom and guidance for the Call Committee
    • For clarity on who Jesus already has lined up to be the next leader of our school
    • A prayer of thanks for Principal Rudi’s faithful leadership over the last 10 years
    • For the last year and a half of Principal Rudi’s leadership, that God will give him the strength to finish well
    • For a smooth and successful transition that will lead our school into a bright and exciting future!
